Dr. Riemann is a board certified Neurologist. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She obtained her MD degree from The Medical College of Pennsylvania, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society . She completed her Neurology residency at Emory University followed by a fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology (EEG and EMG). She is a member of American Academy of Neurology and currently serves on the safety committee for the United States Polo Association. Dr. Riemann has two children, Jessica and Christopher. She enjoys playing polo, running and spending time with her family.
Marsha Alexander, RN, MSN, FNP-BC
Marsha is a native of Georgia. She has been a neurological nurse practitioner since 1998 . She initially started practicing as a neurosurgical nurse practitioner at the Department of Neurosciences at Harbin Clinic in Rome Georgia from 1998 through 2007 . She then relocated to Woodstock, Georgia and joined Dr. Stephanie Riemann at Bridgemill Neurological Associates, P.C. as her neurological nurse practitioner to practice general neurology in October of 2008 . Her education started at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. then transferred to the University of West Georgia and graduated with honors in 1995 with a Baccalaureate of Science/Nursing . She completed a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program and received a Master’s of Science in Nursing and a degree in Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at Kennesaw State University with honors in 1998. She graduated as a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Marsha is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by American Nurses Credentialing Center and by the American Academy of Family Nurse Practitioners. Prior to becoming an NP, Marsha was employed as an ICU RN at level II trauma hospitals, as well as a Neuroscience Clinical Manager for all neurological services for several years. Marsha and her son live in Woodstock, Georgia. Her hobbies include: playing polo, snow skiing with her son in Utah, and playing the piano.
Mary was born in New York and raised in multiple states on the east coast; Cuba; the Philippines; and Japan while her dad served in the U.S. Navy. She obtained her Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing from the Florida State University in 2000. She worked at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for two years. In 2002, she relocated to Atlanta where she began working at Northside Atlanta in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She worked there as a charge nurse and supervisor for almost 16 years. She graduated from the University of South Alabama with her Masters of Science in Nursing and is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated as a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and was recognized by the faculty of the University of South Alabama with the Excellence in Practice award as a Family Nurse Practitioner graduate student. Mary enjoys spending time with her husband, William, and spending time with her Mastiff Logan and cat Flynn. She enjoys watching Florida State Seminole football, gardening and learning about history.
